About Dierdre

Being an Animal Communicator is not a miraculous talent. Everyone is born with telepathic abilities! We are taught by our parents and society very early on that "your invisible friend" does not exist or your pet "can't talk to you". Society, as a general rule, is not ready to accept the fact that we all do have telepathic abilities.

I was very lucky growing up because I was born an identical twin! Our telepathic abilities, which created a "special language" between us, was encouraged! To this day, whenever we are together we still communicate in our "special language".

My family had many pets while I was growing up; dogs, birds, lizards, snakes, chickens, goats... and later when I was on my own; cats, dogs, large parrots and horses. I bred, trained and showed German Shepherd dogs and was successful in the obedience show ring! I competed in the horse ring in flat work and hunter classes. I was not a gifted rider but had lots of fun!

I always felt a closeness with my animals but was never consciously aware of telepathically communicating with them or thinking of myself as an Animal Communicator.

I went to college and majored in social welfare. I graduated and received my BA degree hoping to better the lives of the less fortunate. I later went to law school for two years but decided this was not the path I was to take. After years of working with people I became disenchanted with "the system". I felt unfulfilled and not satisfied with my life.

One day I was leafing through a small local paper and saw a class being offered at one of the local schools. The class advertised that one could learn what their ideal job could be based on their personality and temperament traits! I signed up for the class and discovered, not surprisingly, that my calling was to work with and train animals. The thought never occured to me that I would consult as an Animal Communicator.

One of our assignments was to find and interview an individual in our desired new profession. I found Maureen Hall, well known animal trainer, performer, behavior consultant, communicator and radio personality. I met with Maureen which resulted in a two year internship learning her philosophy and techniques on training. Part of her technique in training animals was using telepathy. Visualizing what you wanted the animal to do and communicating with it to overcome it's fears. With practice it came easily to me.

I have continued on this journey for the past 12 years performing animal behavior consultations, training dogs and consulting as an Animal Communicator. I have also had a small dog rescue in which I have happily matched 100's of dogs with their chosen person and never had a one come back to me yet.

I have shied away from notoriety due to my quiet nature and temperament. However, as an Animal Communicator, I have continued to find my path in helping people successfully all over the United States with their animal's problems, questions and illnesses. I have also helped people through the dying process of their best friends! I know I can help you too.
